All About Miranda Rights

The right to remain silent, otherwise known as the Miranda Rights, are intended to protect criminal defendants from making statements that incriminate themselves. Maryland DUI attorneys will advise that if you are arrested, inform the police officer that you are invoking your Miranda Rights as soon as the questioning begins so you can prevent him from using your statements against you.
